There’s a story behind every offering at Serenity Sounds.
Lavender Dreams is one that began not just with inspiration—but with personal need.
Where Lavender Dreams Began
The idea first took shape when I saw a fellow sound facilitator sharing sound baths in a lavender field in Canada. There was something about the simplicity and calm of that setting that stayed with me. At the same time, I was at the very beginning of my own journey offering sound baths.
I believed in sound therapy. I had experienced its impact.
But I was still finding my voice.
Like many people I work with today, I was navigating anxiety—and at times, brain fog. Stepping into a leadership role in front of a group required me to move beyond my comfort zone. I had to learn how to explain sound baths in a way that felt clear, grounded, and accessible.
Lavender became part of that process.
Why Lavender?
Lavender aromatherapy is widely known for its calming properties. It’s often used to:

Support relaxation
Promote better sleep
Ease feelings of stress and tension
For me, it became something even more practical—it helped create a steady, supportive environment.
Before each session, I would arrive early, take time to play my crystal singing bowls, and diffuse lavender. It helped me settle into the space before participants arrived. It helped my body feel grounded. And I noticed something important: When the environment felt calm, it was easier for others to settle in too.
Lavender Dreams: A Soothing Sound Bath for Your Nervous System.
Evolving Into an Experience
Over time, this simple practice grew into something more intentional—Lavender Dreams: A Soothing Sound Bath for Your Nervous System.
Today, it’s a fully designed sound bath experience that supports both the mind and body:
Crystal Singing bowls in soft hues of pinks and purples
Aurora-inspired lighting gently moving across the ceiling
A thoughtfully prepared space with yoga mats, large & small bolsters, blankets, and lavender-infused eye pillows
Everything is set up so you can walk in without needing to bring anything. That matters more than people realize.
When you’re already feeling overwhelmed, even small decisions—what to bring, how to prepare—can feel like too much. This removes that layer.
More Than Relaxation
Many people come to a sound bath looking to relax. And they can. But what makes this work meaningful is what happens beyond the session.
Sound therapy supports the nervous system by creating space away from constant stimulation, expectations, and noise. It gives your body an opportunity to experience a more regulated state. And over time, that can begin to carry into everyday life.
What That Looks Like in Real Life
For me, the impact hasn’t been dramatic—it’s been subtle, steady shifts. Moments that used to trigger a stress response feel different now:
Responding calmly to unexpected situations
Taking a breath instead of bracing
Moving through the day with a little more ease
These are the kinds of changes that often go unnoticed, but they matter.
Why Small, Intentional Spaces Matter
As someone who has lived with anxiety for many years, I’ve learned how important the environment is. That’s why Lavender Dreams is kept as a small group experience.
Smaller groups allow for:
A more comfortable, less overstimulating environment
A sense of ease when you walk in
Space for your nervous system to settle without pressure
It’s not about filling a room.
It’s about creating the right conditions for your body to feel safe enough to relax.
An Invitation to Pause
Lavender Dreams is more than a sound bath. It’s a space to release stress, step away from constant stimulation, and reconnect with a sense of calm in your body.
Whether you’re new to sound therapy or looking for a more intentional experience, this offering was designed with care—for both the person guiding it, and the people receiving it.
