When I first began facilitating sound baths in 2022, I never imagined how much this journey would evolve. What started as a way for me to support my own nervous system and stress relief has now become a growing wellness space for others to find peace, balance, and deep relaxation.
In 2024, I opened a dedicated Serenity Sounds studio, allowing me to expand accessibility and comfort in sound healing.

Why Accessibility & Inclusivity Matter
As someone living with an autoimmune disease, I know firsthand how important accessibility and inclusivity are in my own wellness journey. I understand that not everyone experiences relaxation in the same way, and I want to ensure that sound therapy is available to as many people as possible. That’s why I am always looking for ways to increase comfort, accessibility, and ease for those who may need extra support in their healing journey.
Providing More Comfort & Support
At our Baptist Wellness Center sound baths, we introduced yoga mats, blankets, and small bolsters—removing barriers for those who may not own a mat but want to experience a sound bath. In our studio, we now offer large bolsters for even greater comfort, helping participants sink into relaxation effortlessly.
Introducing Zero Gravity Chair Sound Baths
Comfort is key for relaxation. That’s why we now offer small group Zero Gravity Chair Sound Baths for:
Busy professionals looking for a stress reset without needing to lie on the floor
Those with motility concerns who prefer a reclined experience
Anyone who simply enjoys a deeply comfortable position for relaxation
These sessions provide the same immersive sound healing while allowing the body to be fully supported. No need to change—just come as you are and let the stress melt away.
Aromatherapy & a Calming Atmosphere
Many of our sound baths include doTERRA aromatherapy—something I originally introduced as a way to calm my own nerves before leading sessions. Over time, I realized how much participants loved this added sensory element, making it a core part of the Serenity Sounds experience. Coupled with candlelight and soft ambient lighting, we create a space where you can truly let go and receive.
Lavender Dreams Sound Bath – A Favorite Self-Care Ritual

One of our most-loved sessions at the studio, Lavender Dreams Sound Bath, combines the deeply soothing vibrations of sound healing with the calming effects of doTERRA lavender aromatherapy and a soft candlelit ambiance. It’s a perfect self-care reset that brings relaxation and deep rest to the nervous system.
A Sound-Sensitive Approach
Because I am sound-sensitive myself, I take a gentle approach to my sessions. My focus is on supporting—not overstimulating—the nervous system. If you have sound sensitivities, I encourage you to reach out before attending so we can ensure a comfortable experience for you.
Why This Matters
One of my favorite parts of this journey is seeing the transformation in participants after a session. That deep sense of relief, renewal, and reset is something we don’t always make time for in daily life. My goal is to create a space where you can feel held, supported, and restored—whether it’s your first sound bath or one of many.
Thank You for Your Support!
As Serenity Sounds continues to grow, I am deeply grateful for this community and for everyone who has been part of this journey. Whether you’ve attended a session, shared a post, or told a friend, you are helping to spread the power of sound healing—and for that, I thank you. 💙
