This fall, Serenity Sounds is excited to bring something truly special to our Jacksonville community: Sound Baths in the Himalayan Salt Cave at Earth Salt Stone.
Over the summer, Tim and I traveled to Santa Barbara, CA, where we had our very first salt cave experience. We left feeling both inspired and restored — and as soon as we learned there was a salt cave right here in Jacksonville, we knew we wanted to share this offering for our community.
Why Sound Bath + Halotherapy is So Powerful Together
A Sound Bath on its own is a deeply restorative experience. The resonance of instruments like crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes, and gong help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and invite deep rest.
Halotherapy, also known as salt therapy, has been used for centuries for its healing benefits. Breathing in the micro-particles of salt in a salt cave can:
Support lung and respiratory health
Soothe skin conditions
Promote relaxation and balance
When combined, sound therapy and halotherapy create a synergy: the salt-infused air nourishes the breath while the sound vibrations invite balance in the mind and body. Together, they offer a complete reset — the perfect self-care ritual after a long workday.
Why After-Work is the Perfect Time for a Sound Bath in a Salt Cave

Our lives are busy, and stress often accumulates throughout the day. An evening sound bath in the salt cave offers a gentle way to transition out of “work mode” and into a state of balance. You’ll leave lighter, calmer, and ready to move into your evening or week with a renewed sense of clarity and ease.

Three Tips for a Nourishing Experience

Hydrate well throughout the day to support the body’s natural cleansing and relaxation process.
Avoid caffeine for 1–2 hours before the session so the nervous system can settle fully.
Wear comfortable clothes if you get chilly — a blanket is available.
A New Chapter in Self-Care for Jacksonville
Sharing sound baths in the salt cave has been a dream since that first Santa Barbara visit. To be able to offer this right here in Jacksonville is both exciting and deeply meaningful.
Whether you come on your own, with a loved one, or even as part of a workplace team, this experience is designed to help you breathe deeply, rest fully, and step back into life with balance.
